Job Description

Job Title: Security Guard

Shift: 3rd shift 11pm-7am

Pay: $19/hr

• Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred 

• Certifications & Licensing

  • Must meet state/local licensing for unarmed security (e.g., guard card)

  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred; fire-watch or industrial safety credentials a plus

• Skills & Abilities

  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills—verbal and written—for incident reporting and coordination

  • Competency with radios, basic security technology, and computers/tablets 

  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure during emergencies

• Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and patrol indoors/outdoors for extended periods 

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally 

• Work Conditions

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Comfortable working in industrial environments, including near machinery and potential chemical exposure 

• Background Checks

  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screening

  • U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
