Job Description

Triumph Integrated Systems - Electronics and Controls, located in Forest, Ohio, is a leading independent aerospace supplier of mission critical thermal and fluid management products for commercial and military platforms. The company provides solutions utilized on aircraft, engine, advance weapons pods, cruise missiles, avionics & electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Check parts for proper fit prior to being welding and brazing.
  • Must be able to read simple blueprints and specifications.
  • Check parts to insure inclusion of all specified weldments, proper placement of parts, conformity with template dimensions and dimensional adherence with blueprint sizes.
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools.
  • Inspection of incoming materials to ensure that the materials meet specifications for which the material was purchased.
  • Maintain inspection records and detect and report defective materials and questionable cases to appropriate supervision.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed or standard safety.
  • Must be knowledgeable of AQL levels and their function in inspection criteria.
  • Attention to detail, eye/hand coordination, pass vision testing.
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes (not over OSHA permissible exposure levels)
  • Ability to train other employees, as needed.
  • Must comply with FAA requirements for “safety sensitive” position.

Qualifications

    • Ability to read and write, interpret measurements and readings, exercise sound independent judgment.
    • Ability to read and understand blueprints and work process instructions.
    • Ability to move parts and equipment in a safe and practical manner.
    • Ability to relate to and interact appropriately with others in a team environment and a willingness to assist, educate and train others.
    • Ability to use hand tools and inspect gauges.
    • Consistently comply with all applicable safety and health rules and regulations including compliance with a respiratory protection program and hearing conservation, if applicable. 
    • Must comply with FAA requirements for “safety sensitive” position.
    • Must have a high school diploma or a GED.
    • Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions. All inquiries related to citizenship are asked solely to comply with ITAR and EAR export licensing requirements.
