Front Desk Receptionist Schedule: Monday-Friday | Hours vary between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (with potential to stay until 8-9 PM based on patient needs) Dress Code: Scrubs Job Summary Advantage MRI, a family-owned clinic with deep roots in Southern California, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting and enjoys being part of a collaborative and flexible work environment. Key Responsibilities + Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth + Schedule appointments in person and over the phone + Verify insurance and handle authorization calls + Assist with billing follow-up and referral intake + Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Preferred Qualifications + Previous experience as a Healthcare Receptionist + Familiarity with insurance verification and medical billing codes + Knowledge of medical terminology and various insurance providers + Experience with high-volume patient interaction Additional Skills + Strong communication and multitasking abilities + Detail-oriented and organized + Self-starter with initiative + Team player with a positive attitude + Enthusiastic about overtime and flexible scheduling Work Environment + Small clinic setting, similar to a family practice or urgent care + Front desk team of 3-4 people in an open lobby-facing layout + Same-day appointments mean shifts are finalized the night before + High volume and fast-paced-ideal for those who thrive under pressure Important Notes + Attendance Policy: 5 absences within 90 days = warning; 7 may lead to termination + Flexibility: Must be open to staying late and enthusiastic about overtime Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
