Summary: The Grinder Operator/Drill Machine Operator role at Voith involves setting up, operating, and maintaining large roll grinding machines or various types of rolls. The operator adheres to safety and quality standards, perform inspections, and manage heavy loads using an overhead crane. Experience in roll grinding and handling industrial equipment is preferred, though trainees may be considered. The position requires manual lifting, potential shift work, and a willingness to learn other operational tasks. A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory if offset by relevant experience.
PAY IS $24-$37 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION; 2nd shift hours are 3:15pm-11:45pm M-F
Training hours will be 7am-3:30pm
